Words & Pictures Ltd (PWP) is an independent public relations consultancy,
specialising in high quality editorial services and strategic communications.
Launched
in 2008, we offer a full range of public relations, design and marketing
services to regional and national clients across the public, private and
voluntary sectors.
We
believe in promoting and enhancing our clients’ reputation through simple, straight-forward,
communications advice and support. Our approach seeks to achieve the most
effective mix of people, words and pictures in telling stories and creating
conversations that meet the communications needs of clients and their customers.

Jonathan Cross
The
Nottingham-based PR consultancy was established by director Jonathan Cross, a member of the
Chartered Institute of Public Relations who in 2009 became one of the
first CIPR
Chartered Practitioners in the country. He is also an associate with the
National Social Marketing Centre and a member of the Association for
Healthcare
Communications and Marketing.
Jonathan
has 20 years experience in journalism and public relations, having worked on
regional and national newspapers including sports reporting and sub-editing on
the Daily Express and Sunday Mirror. Previous in-house PR roles have included
ITV, a top 10 UK building society and the National Health Service. Prior to
launching People, Words & Pictures Ltd in 2008, he was the director of
communications with NHS Nottingham City and led his team to the award of ‘NHS
communications team of the year’ from the Association of Healthcare
Communicators in 2007. He has won eight communications industry awards. Jonathan holds the CIPR Diploma and is an examiner on national CIPR accreditated courses.
